Michael Bloomberg nyc.gov

New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg has had Barack Obama and Mitt Romney trying to court him for some time now, both hoping the third-term independent could help move some swing staters to their respective corners. It wasn't clear either candidate would get the nod from Bloomberg, but the mayor just endorsed Obama. Bloomberg wrote in an op-ed for Bloomberg View that, whether it contributed to Hurricane Sandy or not, climate change was a serious issue and Obama would be the better candidate to stop it. Stupid man.
As stupid as anyone who believes in man made climate change... or ghosts... or cosmic ice... or the man in the moon.

Climate change was caused by all of those large sodas. Now, that sizes over 16 oz. are banned in NYC, there should be no more problems. (To anyone who supports such bans & also believes in AGW -- I'm just joking. There probably is no link between soda size, and post-tropical cyclones.)

So pumping to much harmful gases into the air will not harm anything? Then you are misinformed.

Misinformed huh?

http://www.geocraft.com/WVFossils/greenhouse_data.html

When greenhouse contributions are listed by source, the relative overwhelming component of the natural greenhouse effect, is readily apparent.

From Table 4a, both natural and man-made greenhouse contributions are illustrated in this chart, in gray and green, respectively. For clarity only the man-made (anthropogenic) contributions are labeled on the chart.

Water vapor, responsible for 95% of Earth's greenhouse effect, is 99.999% natural (some argue, 100%). Even if we wanted to we can do nothing to change this.

Anthropogenic (man-made) CO2 contributions cause only about 0.117% of Earth's greenhouse effect, (factoring in water vapor). This is insignificant!

Adding up all anthropogenic greenhouse sources, the total human contribution to the greenhouse effect is around 0.28% (factoring in water vapor).

So who's misinformed?

In many parts of the world there is very good evidence that the climate has changed dramatically. From floods to drought to heat and cold. I agree that any of man's effect on the earth tends to be bad for nature and climate.

Bloomberg made his money damaging the climate and beating down the working class so go figure.

First of all, since when is a political endorsement science?
Second, man-made global warming is a joke. "climategate" should have killed it ages ago, when it was proved the UN was falsifying scientific data for their own uses. water vapor is the biggest contributor, and is not man-made. Also, the antarctic ice cap is at the largest point aver in modern history. How is that possible if the planet is warming and the ozone layer is disappearing? The planet has natural cycles that take hundreds or thousands of years to complete. 65 years of accurate recording is insufficient to determine if we have changed a thousand year cycle. Remember the Phoenicians said that Antarctica was a green continent, and the vikings called Greenland green for a reason. Humanity will survive and thrive even if the temperature is rising.

Science without religion is lame. Religion without science is blind. Albert Einstein

This whole man caused global warming is just more evidence that science is not above politics.

When Planet X finishes its 3600-year orbit and is in close proximity to the Earth, the Annunaki will bring Armageddon and all this would environmental and the Gods\aliens Annunaki will clear up, all society mess. Of course, I am combining Sumerian history with Jewish\Hebrew history. Jewish\Hebrew history does get its genesis from the Sumerians; ah, time will tell, time will tell.

No worries. ;)

bobbyg this is aimed directly at you, you're not just misinformed you're willfully ignorant. Every single credible scientist in the field of environmental science, every single one of them endorses global warming as an honest to God fact, not a theory, but a rock hard indisputable fact.

Calling it anything less makes you look no more intelligent than the people who believe the Earth is around 9,000 years old and that evolution is a ghost story.

The reason you were able to come across that bogus non peer reviewed article with not a single credible scientist backing it up is because in order to reverse the course we're on in terms of our impact on the environment it's going require a massive commitment from every person on the planet, in terms of time and money, and there are a ton of psychotically greedy people out there who do not want to pony up and would rather let the next generation choke on our fumes.

In Obama's June 2008 candidate acceptance speech, he claimed that this would be the day that "sea levels would stop rising and the earth would begin to heal". That was over 4 years ago, and if these claims were true, Nanny Bloomberg would not be having to pump sea water out of the NYC subway system.

Let me see if I can understand Bloomberg's 'thinking'...Obama, the same character that once claimed that he visited 57 states, is going to stop 'climate change'?

Never let a tragedy go to waste, like the quintessential shyster, Bloomberg wastes no time, the first minute he's able to get his nose in front of a video camera he leverages the suffering of others to push for his underlying objective of a global tax on the air we breathe.

There's a dollar sign superimposed on every weather event in the eyes and twisted minds of these global warming mafioso's

I keep forgetting... Is he a Democrat this week, or a Republican?

Stop the tides! Drink smaller sodas!
