Mystery Eyeball This softball-sized eyeball washed up on the shore in Pompano Beach, Florida this Wednesday. Scientists aren't sure what animal it belongs to, although they note that giant squid often have eyeballs this large or even larger, and that it is not uncommon for them to become unattached.
