A "blue moon" refers to the second full moon in a single month, so, no, it's not actually blue, but it's still a cool event--it won't happen again until July 2015--and it's even going to be broadcast by The Slooh Space Camera, in case weather or location blocks your view. Do they make blue Moon Pies? Those would be good sometime. Maybe once every three years. As to the moon from my house the last few nights; occasion, indeed. I've been putting the glass on it as soon as it breaks.
