A Rocket Launch In 360-Degree Video Is Phenomenal

United Launch Alliance (ULA), a private spacefaring company that’s a joint venture of aerospace giants Boeing and Lockheed, has been having a rough time recently due to a series of mostly unrelated technical, business, and staffing-related mishaps. But ULA did something pretty awesome recently: it captured up-close, 360-degree video of the launch of one of its Delta IV rockets from Vandenberg Air Force Base back in February. And last month, the company shared this incredible panoramic video on its Facebook page. The actual ignition starts around 1:30 in. Although we see oodles of rocket launch videos here, I can safely say this is one of the most spectacular to behold in recent memory.
