Q: What's the difference between this iPad edition and the Popular Science I can buy on paper? Is there any additional content?

Every bit of content you love from the paper issue is here in Popular Science+, redesigned for easy reading on the iPad. In future issues, look for exclusive photos and stories not available anywhere else

Q: How do I get around the magazine?

Just like the paper issue, you can explore your copy of Popular Science+ page by page or by skipping around. Swipe across with one finger to turn one story at a time, or swipe with two fingers to quickly jump among sections. You can also push up with two fingers at the bottom of the screen to reveal the Contents panel: From here you can simply tap to jump among sections. And you can bookmark a page by pulling down in the upper left corner (just like dog-earing a paper page), and it will appear in that same Contents panel.

Q: Does it have video?

Our first priority in creating Popular Science+ was preserving the great reading experience of physical magazines, so in this early iteration, we've focused on getting that right. As the platform continues to evolve (based in part on feedback from readers like you), we'll look at what extra features we can add to give you an even better experience without ever taking away from the relaxing browsing and easy reading experience that you expect from Popular Science.

Q: Is it possible to subscribe to the iPad edition?

Yes! Just not yet. But soon you'll be able to subscribe to 6 or 12 issues right from the app. You'll save money, and we'll automatically let you know when a new issue is ready for download. Enter your e-mail, and we'll let you know as soon as subscriptions are ready.

Q: If I'm a Popular Science subscriber already, can I get this at a discount?

Yes, we hope to offer our loyal PopSci print subscribers a special rate as soon as subscriptions are available for the iPad edition. In the future, we may also offer discounts on single issues.

Q: Can I share articles from your digital edition on Facebook or other social networks?

Yes. In the next few months, you'll be able to rub a page to enter a special Heated mode, where you can share the text in a number of ways, including e-mailing, tweeting, and posting to your Facebook page.
