Cub Cadet i1050 Zero Turn Tractor

A Slick Pro Mower Anyone Can Drive

It took an insane number of patents, but the latest Cub Cadet combines the maneuverability of a professional zero-turn mower with the easy drivability of a traditional lawn tractor, introducing the average homeowner to the beauty of zero-radius turning. Instead of clunky levers to drive each side of the mower independently—which allows it turn in place—the Cub Cadet gives you a simple steering wheel. The wheel automatically controls an internal lever system that links the front wheels to twin transmissions in the rear. So when you turn left, the rear right wheel goes forward while the left goes in reverse. And since the front wheels steer rather than wobble around like shopping-cart casters, the mower won’t slip on steep hills and has the traction and power to haul attachments like clipping bags and trailers. Yard work has never been so fun. $3,000; cubcadet.com
