Thigh-saving seats

No more scalding bare skin on hot seats. BMW’s 3-Series convertible uses sun-reflecting leather that reduces the surface temperature of its seats, armrests and shift knob by up to 36°F. First used in BMW motorcycle suits, the company embeds metallic pigments during the tanning process to reflect solar radiation, with no effect on softness or durability. bmwusa.com
