Infiniti Around-View Monitor

Be an omniscient driver

Rear-view cameras can keep you from dinging the car behind you or hitting the neighbor’s dog, but that’s not always enough. Nissan’s Around-View Monitor, an option on the new 2008 Infiniti EX 35 crossover, gives you a 360-degree view of the car’s surroundings on the in-dash LCD screen. An image processor takes views from four cameras—mounted in the front and rear and in the side mirrors—and synthesizes them into a virtual bird’s-eye view from above, eliminating blind spots as you maneuver into parking spaces or back down narrow driveways. nissanusa.com
