Please, cant we admire the work of a brilliant scientist on his birthday without going to battle over the whole creationism vs. evolutionism thing? Whether you accept Darwin's ideas or not, his influence has without a doubt affected the world we live in, even beyond the realm of the natural sciences. Even the most devout Christian would be a fool to try and dispute this fact.
Happy Birthday Big D
"There is a grandeur in this view of life."
Evolution is a beautiful thing. The strongest survive to pass on their genes. And weak die and don't pass on their genes. Life is as simple as that. No other moral responsibilities. Our mission in life is to reproduce. And kill anything that gets in our way. Kill or be killed. What beautiful way to live.
