Here's the thing-- problems with the HST have delayed the Atlantis mission, but the prop says "Will Atlantis be delayed because of space trash?". It's not just a question of the delay, but one of the nature of the delay, no? What are your thoughts on this? Does the HST issue count?
Feedback wanted.

I would say that we need to find out what cause the HST issue. It might have been caused by space trash. But we will not know what happened until after the servicing mission, and maybe not even then.
All of the problems with the HST that I have heard about have been due to electrical failure or mechanical wear and tear(ignoring the bad primary mirror), so the chances of a space trash problem is very small.

Yep-- I'm fairly certain that the cause of the delay is not what the prop payout statement refers to. But, it looks like it'll still close short because the prediction won't have played out (i.e. it's not going to launch, and not because of space trash).
I agree.
"This proposition will pay off at POP$100 per share if the Atlantis mission is derailed because of space trash by the end of October 2008. "
This seems pretty clear. Pay off at 100 only if delay occurs prior to the end of October 2008 due to space trash.
There has been an announced delay. There was nothing in the announcement about space trash.
I don't think you can de-list until November 1 (space trash could still be implicated in the delay), but it looks like a near 0% chance of $100 pay out.
Great, Now what i am going to do? That was my first stock!
