you say that because...

...words up like "growd."
Well, I don't know how much my word counts, but Memorial Day weekend usually sees a spike in gas prices; so I wouldn't expect $4 by June 1.

...so highergas will...
Normally after Memorial day gas prices dip however up until today no one expected this to happen this year. Now the experts are hedging there bets and oil prices have dropped significantly. I caught this wave down after reading some articles in usatoday but it could go either way according to the "experts" I would suggest watching this one close!!
mexican fisher: i don't want to be THAT guy, but it seems gas is more expensive today than it was yesterday...so i guess you were incorrect about gas not getting any higher...hmmm
but it will go down soon and will not reach $4 by june 1which is in four days!
....go down...
...and I am trusting enough to hold this prop short...
Why isn't this stock locked to trading?
It is now June 1 -- & it is still possible to trade this stock.
What good is playing PPX, if players can place their bets after the event has occured?
PPX Admins: Please get your collective act together. Set up a system, whereby stocks are automatically locked prior to the event date -- or at least, circle the dates on your calander, and lock the stocks manually.
Yep. At least 4 stocks (including this one) that "closed" yesterday or today and whose outcome is known, all still trading merrily. Probably will continue until at least 10:30AM EDT tomorrow when the NY-based admins wander in to the office.
What a joke.
This is crazy please do something, like it is not hard enough for the honest traders to catch up to the scam wagon you guys make it even harder by not doing your damned job's right.
PPX is a joke! You are all bums and I loath you for your poor work ethic.

did you mean "loath" (synonym: reluctant) which is defined as: "unwilling to do something contrary to one's ways of thinking" or did you mean "loathe" (synonym: detest) which is defined as: "to dislike greatly and often with disgust or intolerance"
Personally, I loathe people who are loath to spell words correctly.
@domwins: ...and yet, just like a masochist, you keep coming back for more.
I do not think he was "reluctant" to spell the word correctly, I am sure he just made a mistake. It would be rather weird if he misspelled a word because he was "unwilling" to spell it correctly. I do admire your rigid intolerance for misspelled words though.
Settle down dom. High blood pressure via ppx would be a shame. I am getting high blood pressure from this damned triple overtime stanley cup game. I have to wake up at 5 a.m. but I need to watch it...
Penguins just won...
Gas is apparently on its way to $5 a gallon here in California. I just went to fill up today and can't find anything below $4.27. With what happened in the oil markets on Thursday and Friday we're probably going to see another 20 cent jump over the next week. I got gas a week ago Sunday and it was $4.07! Time for another proposition?
The highergas prop was just timed a little wrong... the national average will finally hit $4 officially on Monday.
