Science is reinventing play, from extreme sports to gamification to ridiculous roller coasters to the playgrounds of tomorrow, and this issue is chock full of fun. Also, on a less fun note: Did global warming destroy my hometown?
I get that a lot, but a refresh usually works.
usually i hold down f5 for a while and click the refresh button a bunch of times, I give up after a minute and just try later.
I'm certainly not the most computer savvy person, so forgive me if this is a stupid solution, but closing and re-opening the browser works for me every time. It's probably not the easiest way, but it works consistantly.
I do that as well, and sometimes switch between Firefox and IE. It doesn't always work. The fun part is sometimes one browser can get in, and the other one can't and it is not always the same one.
I sometimes wonder if when I am hopping pages the website does not update fast enough and shows to many "kubie's" ( a scary thing indeed) online and has the electronic version of a nervous breakdown.
Billcosby, all I do is refresh (using F5) the screen. I've never not gotten the page to load after trying that a couple times.
NARC, I'll try that next time. It sounds easier than what I've been doing.
I'm getting similar errors. Consistently. Tired of it. Is anyone at Popsci.com looking into these issues?
Hah hah hah ha! No!
It would be rare for me not to see this error everyday. I have 4 things to try and 1 of them work at any given time:
1) The old fashion refresh seems to work sometimes, but after the first few refresh and I still see the same thing I do:
2) Go to popsci.com, and click PPX from there
3) If that doesn't work, sign off and log back in again
4) Finally, if all else fails, just wait for few minute (drink a cup or something), and try again.
Does anyone else have the issue where the box that I'm entering text into right now gets stuck over somebody else's post? That is REALLY annoying
Yes, every time I open a thread.
How do you get rid of it? F5-ing doesn't seem to work!
