probably just you, considering 98 is obsolete (even Window update doesn't support it anymore). Try firefox for web browsing.
Funny, I used windows update and updated a win98 system just a few days ago.
Firefox is your best bet, whatever you do don't try to load Internet exploder 7
I doubt if anything cures your problem totally. I have problems with the latest greatest browsers getting on sometimes. I think Safari seems to be the most reliable if you have access to a Mac.
I've managed to figure out how to transfer dial-up to my laptop, which is XP. So, this thread can die.
