The New ‘Deus Ex’ Trailer Is a Scary Dystopian Movie

When we talk about fears of dystopian futures, warped by technology, the conversation tends to be an abstract.
But Deus Ex: Mankind Divided isn’t dealing with abstractions. The newest trailer for the game puts the fear of cyborgs and “enhanced” individuals front and center. If you didn’t know any better, you might expect it to be a trailer for an upcoming Spielberg film.
To be blunt, we didn’t see a lot of gameplay going on in this video, but not all game trailers require that literal of a presentation. Whether the game is any good remains to be seen — it drops on August 23rd for Xbox One, Playstation 4, and PC. But you’ll definitely want to check it out after watching this:
