Whats with the square object in the largest crater?
image #4
who knows? maybe an secret soviet base
I doubt anything could land on mercury, much less live there.
I would think that the square we see is a optical illusion created by the angle of the photograph. A number of photos show a large crater with a small crater in the center. My guess is that this crater has been photographed before from right above the craters showing the item inside of the large crater to be a smaller round crater.
If the item was square I would think that NASA would say so. NASA photos have produced illusions before. Like the shadow produced "human face" on Mars.
Earth quakes have produced large indentions in the ground with 90 degree corners and vertical walls on Earth. The Germans were the first to notice earth quake created rectangular shapes in Germany. Some with only two corners and three vertical walls creating a valley. The Germans give these rock indentations their name, graven. Which means grave in English.
