The first antenna for the world's largest observatory arrives high up in the alien environment of the Chilean Andes.

It seems to me that this observatory should had been built on the moon as part of our permanent commitment to that resource.

ALMA stands for Atacama Large Millimeter Array. It would be helpful to explain this in the article commentary.
