The Goods: April 2012's Hottest Gadgets

I have the original single serving Espro Press and absolutely love it! I am a coffee snob of sorts, and am a fan of pourover brew methods, but out of laziness gave in and bought the Espro...well worth every dime. My only complaint was the small size. When I saw the Kickstarter project for a 10-cup pot I was excited, and can't wait for mine to arrive. If you missed it, www.veniacoffee.com has them available for pre-order. I would think some other reputable shops have them too.

If I remember, I will give a quick review when my pot arrives.

NOTE TO EDITOR: water is a non-compressible fluid. the passage should read the following: To generate steam, the machine passes water through a 1,500-watt heating element before pressurizing it.

@apclarke. Steam is a gas and can thus be compressed.

@pablo_max. Steam is water droplets suspended in air (air is a mixture of gases) water vapor is a gas. But you are correct that the steam can be compressed, but it is a mix of liquid and gases... not a gas.
