Though I've often pined over late-70s audio gear, with its backlit gauges, heavy metal dials and woodgrain solidity, I've never been sad about my own receiver lacking a built-in drum machine. Until now. Our friends over at Sound+Vision have put together an excellent guide to the high-quality, bargain-priced amplifiers and pre-amplifiers you should keep an eye out for at yard sales and on eBay.
