Great pictures. World Class, Great National Park in 'The United States of America'. As a taxpaying Citizen, I love every visit to OUR National Parks. I hope that everyone from around the entire world, enjoys visiting OUR National Parks, as much as I do. With great effort, Historical Yellowstone Lodge was saved.

Image 14 refers to the reportedly "Devastating Fires" of 1988. I have often visited Yellowstone over my life span, long before, shortly after, and long after, the 'reportedly' "Devastating" fires. The same fires that left fertile open meadows of diversity, similar to those reported by early explorers. The same fires that controlled or virtually eliminated parasitic infestations rampant at the time.

Take my word, and those words of educated 'and' experienced Naturalists. The fires were a long overdue, cleansing 'Necessity'. The suppression of natural cyclic fires, is NOT a benefit to any forest. Politically driven, Human intervention is akin to a Plague against natural cycles required to balance Nature.

The Political Power aspects were the Only reasons for this 'Human Interference'. The professionally 'spun' news would not be nearly as emotional if the headlines and talking heads only reported "Cyclic, Historical Fires.. As usual" "No Administration involvement necessary". "Carry On".
