The "Green Stuff" looks like piezoelectric discs to me; the white pads would be the contacts for the two sides.

The Radio Control Board is from a Chevy/GM - AM/FM Radio/CD player.

Yeah, just don't try to take any of that stuff on a plane with you.

I haven't seen a serial mouse like that in ages. And yet, I still cannot abandon the USB mouse for a wireless mouse. I have always found them too jumpy. If I were going to add anything to the box, it would be a keyboard that I have that has keys that are too small and a pair of barely-used wireless mice.
