See John Carnett's jet-powered ATV first hand, among many other wonders at the New York Hall of Science in Queens

Carnett and the Whirl at Maker Faire 2010 John Mahoney

Maker Faire NYC is this weekend! If you're in the New York area, there's still one more day to come check out the finest traveling DIY circus in the world.

Our own John Carnett and Vin Marshall are set up with some recent How 2.0 treasures: Carnett's Whirl, the insane jet-powered ATV, and Vin's propane fireball gun.

The whole thing is going down at New York's Hall of Science in Queens, the former site of the iconic 1939 and 1964 World's Fairs. It's a great backdrop for Maker Faire's truly unique modern carnival. We'll have a full wrap-up of highlights tomorrow, but for now, come check it out yourself!
