Spring tube bender.

They are bending springs, used when bending soft copper so as not to cause a kink or a hard bend.

They are used for bending copper pipes. they go around the outside of the pipe and you use your knee or other round surface to slowly bend the pipe.

Tube bending springs. Used for manual bending of copper or steel lines.

They are Tubing benders. You insert them inside of aluminum or steel tubing to keep the tube from collapsing and crushing your tube for a good proper bend.

super-mega golf tee's for mega-super distance that double as bendy swords for drunken hijinks on the green.

Selective Hearing Aid. Attach the cone side of the device next to your ear and point the other end towards what you're trying to hear. Of course, everything sounds distorted - like the "Snake Microphone" of the Skeletor's Castle playset (one of the He-Man toys).

Ok, fine. I have no clue what this is.

I'm new around here and all. When will the winner be announced? Also, why do people keep answering with the same answers that have already been posted?

A set of tubing benders for different sizes of soft metal tubing copper and aluminum

This is a spring type tubing bender, used specifically to create bends on soft metals; i.e. copper, brass, aluminum, and some thin wall metals.

Yes this looks like a tubing bender but for PVC pipe. Put it in side the tool and it will bend it without kinking or braking it.

Frosssty, you are correct (it's a spring tube bender)! As are many of the rest of you, but Frosssty was first, so congratulations! I'll send you an email and ask for your info so we can get your prize into your hands.

Everyone else, keep on guessing in our upcoming Guess This Tool posts.

Thanks!

taylorhengen,
On the previous contest you stated, "Looks like we're going to need to get a little more crazy on all of you! So get ready-- we're raising our game next time-- keep your guesses coming!"

Then what do you give us? Something really crazy? No, you give us tubing benders. Heck, anyone who's worked on a car's brake system has seen them as they are needed for bending brake and fuel lines. Anyone who has ever bought a pipe cutter has seen them as they come with most pipe cutting kits. Just about anyone who's ever held copper or mild steel tubing in their hand should know that one. That is neither "crazy" or raising the game at all. The first two contests I would certainly call "obscure" tools but the later ones were lacking.

Also, you'd asked in the beginning "what it is" and people replied with the use of the tool, but you picked the winner as the one who actually gave you name of the company that manufactured it while others had given what I would think were the correct answers much earlier. You should be more specific if what you really want is the manufacturer and model designation.

I'd be glad if I didn't have a clue as to what these things are as when the correct answer is chosen I'd have learned something new. I love the contests, although I'm usually "a day late; and a dollar short."

I have a system of parts that I have no what it's function is. Can I submit it somewhere or does someone want to help me out?

Il s'agit d'un type de tube à ressort Bender, utilisé spécifiquement pour créer des courbes sur les métaux mous, le cuivre à savoir, le laiton, l'aluminium et certains métaux paroi mince.
