On my way into work today I noticed that I needed gas, and that prices were coming down from $3.27 to an average of $3.18. I thought great I'll get gas on my way home after prices stop falling . On my way home however gas was $3:34 (which is what I paid) and rising by the time I hit my end of town (Toledo, Ohio) signs were changing to $3.45 for the lowest Octane, and some places just had $3.4_ because they were still expecting it to go Up. So what are prices like everywhere else.

Anywhere from 3.75 to 3.85 in San Francisco. Good thing I just got a new job where I don't need to drive everyday.

I live in central British Columbia, Canada. I filled up this morning and the prices all over town here for regular are $1.14.9/Litre which is equivalent to $4.34.9 for a U.S. Gallon. The price difference between us is primarily due to taxes and that's why so many Canadian drivers are slipping over the line to fill up in the States.
You might think that significantly higher fuel prices would mean that we drive smaller vehicles. Not so! More than half the vehicles on the road here are pickups, the bigger the better, whether needed or not!
Today, I heard that oil hit $110./bbl and our fuel prices are predicted to reach $1.40/Litre by summer ($5.30/US Gal).
Now for the good news; you can save up to 50% on your fuel bill while continuing to drive your present vehicle simply by driving very carefully with fuel economy as your goal. That means minimal idling, smooooth starts, driving way ahead so you can coast up to red lights, etc.
I love our family's Toyota Prius!
Were hearing $4.00 a gallon by summer here. Timetvlr I knew that Europe was heavily taxed on their gas, but did not realize Canada was. I haven't been to Canada in a long time I think last time I went you got $1.50 Canadian for each $1.00 US. which was great, I think were about even now.
$3.49 for regular. Looks like HIGAS still wouldn't pay out long.
Also, my location is Roseburg, Oregon.
3.11 here is the good price in Worcester MA
$3.16 to $3.18 around Kansas City
3.11$ to 3.19$ in Alpharetta, Georgia
$2.98 per gal for regular, in Trenton New Jersey.
$3.32 per gallon in Bradenton, Florida
$3.20 to $3.24 here in Malvern, Pa
All those presedential candidates are rasing the price around here!!!
I shoulda got gas over last weekend when it was $3.18 :(
Whoops, somehow lost my current gas prices there.
It's $3.22 to $3.32 between Clearwater and Oldsmar, FL
pcarrion, you're lucky, not only do you usually pay some of the lowest gas prices in the country, you also get your gas pumped FOR you! Although, it does take considerably longer if the station is pretty full and the attendants are busy.
Gas is up to 3.65 here in Los Angeles, and that is over in the Glendale, Eagle Rock, Pasadena area, not the west side.
pso7025 you are right I grew up in maryland and pumped my own gas for years like the rest of you then recently moved for Jersey for work, and if it is really busy it can take forever to get my gas pumped, however it is nice if it is really cold or rainy.
Gas here is 3.15 - 3.23. I do not want to tell where this is for safety reasons.
Today the price reached $3.45!. That was the price at almost all of the stations around.
It was $3.99 here (for Premium) in Riverside, California

Tonight I filled the tank with 100% non-imported Hess regular grade gas at a station just off of I-26 in Laurens County, SC for $3.09/gallon. I'm glad I live in a state that believes in extremely limited taxation!
(BP in Greenville, SC was $3.07 yesterday morning...)

Fuel prices in canada are at $1.20 can per liter. This is about $4.50 US (with out exchange rate). but I here that prices are expected to reach 200$ for crude oil\barrel. that will deff. put prices over the top.
Back here in Toledo, Ohio recently saw gas at $3.59.
For me gas is $3.59 - $3.63 now.
Gas in my area has risen to $3.74 for regular, $4.64 for diesel.
