This proposition will pay out at POP$100 if iTunes is the number one music retailer, as reported by the NDP group, by January 1, 2009.

This looks like a long, but your comments/thoughts would be appreciated (especially if you are Vulgarian!)

CNET seems to think it's a sure long.

Thanks! (but could we get a link?)

the CNET link is on the prop page. The link we should be asking for is how to get the report from the NDP group. I checked their site but couldn't find anything. I admit though I gave up after a few minutes of searching around

Looks like a long at this point especially with all the stats.....

The only problem is that i am not so sure that ITUNES has enough time, because as mentioned in the prop page Walmart also has a strong online download, even though not as strong as ITUNES. This would be gauranteed long by maybe mid-2009.

My only thing is, WalMart downloads are censored. I think it's their perogative to do what they want, but personally if the song I'm listening to says the f word...I want to hear the f word and not some lame sound-over. They should at least give the option to download the explicit version.

That's why I don't buy music at walmart. I buy it at Fred Meyer and Sam Goody.

Eh. I'm just gonna go ahead and put it out there...I don't normally "buy" music...but when I do...its from iTunes or if I don't feel like using the net, I go to best buy.

A report is coming out that iTunes was the #1 retailer in the month of January, which looks sufficient to satisfy this proposition long!

Ok, so I'm waiting for this to pay out... Do I have to wait until January?

...We've had troops in Japan and Germany for over 60 years. Does that mean we LOST WWII ?!?!?...

for God's sake, I hope not. This is friggin' crazy. Post in the tech support thread and ask the admins... if they care to read it.
