Taylor:

I know that ppx takes up a lot of time, money, and dealing with people on the forums can be frustrating.

But thousands of people enjoy playing this game, and besides you just got the leagues going -it needs work- but it's going!

I think you guys feel that you just don't have the time, money, and resources for ppx, and that is why you want to kill it, but this quiz game is going to take up the same amount of time, money, and resources to run as ppx does, so why not just keep ppx alive?

Please give it another look; how about 2 more years?

Thanks Taylor, and the ppx team.

Bump

Bump Bump over here taylor please!
we will help seriously!

(A) It was a done deal before they even told us about it.
(B) The cost is NOT the same. PPX used a licensed ($rented$) game engine. Quizzes are easy and cheep, they could even build their own.

who cares about quizzes? Honestly.

"who cares about quizzes? Honestly."
Not I.
Vulgarian was campaigning for them.

I agree that PPX needs to stay alive, I just joined and was going to be in this for the long haul. Please keep it alive. Plus quiz games aren't ever any fun.

I'm going to assume, that the admins will ignore this thread too...

I understand that they have more important work to do, but it only takes 15 min to skim the forums, and give a quick yes, no answer.
Some of us never got answers to other questions.

I will try this quiz thing once it launches, but if I see the same neglect, as was evident with ppx, I won't stick around too long.
We the players are like pets, we all need support, and our bellies rubbed, otherwise we run away to a better game.

Please don't ignore the forums.

This really sucks!!! :-( I just joined and had started to get my feet wet. I feel like I have been ripped off. I really enjoyed playing and I am not big on quizzes so what are going to do.

June 2012: Invent Your Own Anything

The 6th annual Invention Awards are here, from an inflatable tourniquet to a better lobster trap to spring-loaded hocket skates. This issue is all about the celebration of invention.

Plus: Making synthetic biology breakthroughs in a garage, building a constantly-moving ping-pong table, and a ridiculously overpowered barbecue.
