I have $221,250.00 worth of CLOSED PROPS that have not paid off.
There is a lack of good new props based upon current events with short windows to provide opportunities of interest. The CONTESTS, page has not been changed since the first of the year.
The most current prize posted is for the month of March. The LEAGUEs are a flop, a big hype followed by...nothing.
The PLAYERS are a great source of PROPS to suggest.
What is the point? How long will it be untill the vision will be shared?
I like the game but it is not being supported, the whole site is not being supported.
If this was a college project it would get a grade of incomplete as it is failing to deliver. Come on POPSCI, spend some time with us.
Update the contest, pay off the closed props and give us some new ones.
This relationship is becoming one sided and we( the players) are feeling neglected.
We like you but do not count on us to stay around forever, PPX is losing it's attraction.
PLAYERS,...Do you see what I see?

I have the same complaint, it seems like ppx is turning into an after thought for popsci.
Dose taylor answer questions in the forums anymore?
I had a question regarding the leagues two months ago, and I never got a reply, from any of the admins.
And why do the props take so long to pay out?
I understand she has a ton of work, but just how long dose it take to halt and payout two props, 5 days?
What about the SEEDS prop that halted back in February, why hasn't it payed out yet, it's been 3 months?

And I would also like to add that, popsci mag is losing some of it's appeal as well.
I have been a subscriber to this magazine for almost 8 years.
Lately, some of the articles have been written with some really corny humor.
I have noticed this with some of the props on ppx as well.
Please stop with the corny humor.

What? Corny!? You can insult my mother, sure, make slurring remarks about my religion and race, or even note how I am unable to please my girlfriend in bed. But you insult my comedy! Now thems fightin words...

It looks like you got your wish. PPX is now closing.
FYI, if you want a prop to pay out, just send Taylor an email stating which way a prop should pay out, with some accompanying proof. It usually pays out in a day. Just make sure that you include some solid evidence.

I can't link to my portfolio. What's happening?

June 2012: Invent Your Own Anything

The 6th annual Invention Awards are here, from an inflatable tourniquet to a better lobster trap to spring-loaded hocket skates. This issue is all about the celebration of invention.

Plus: Making synthetic biology breakthroughs in a garage, building a constantly-moving ping-pong table, and a ridiculously overpowered barbecue.
