What's that about? Anyone else have this problem?

Try signing out and signing in again. Worked for me.
I'm having the same problem. The signing out and back in works for me too but the point is, clicking on Portfolio should NOT take you to your profile.
That needs to be fixed.
It now takes about 10 clicks to log in....
Logging out and logging back in is now 4-6 times a day and it works only about 3 times out of 4

Doesn't work for me. Four weeks after signing up, and this POS still has never actually worked for me. There are some pretty awesome codings skills going on over there.
I have the same problem, and logging in and out hasn't worked for me (yet)...
Oh well, guess I'll try again my sixth time.
works most of the time thankfully... but it is so annoying clicking 8 times (i counted) to get to my portfolio when it should take 3... (one on Favorites, next on ppx, then on portfolio)
Two for me. I have my favorite take me right to the 'port, and about 50% of the time now, it takes me to my user account.
I've finally started having problems with this too.
I usually get that about 25% of the time,landing on my profile page and then I usually do this clicking the bookmark that I have : http://ppx.popsci.com/login/index.php?redirect=true
and it usually get me on the port page quickly.
I dint know about you guys, but i am still having problems with getting to ppx in the first place. when i click on my bookmark, it says on ppx that i am not logged in. i then click on "sign in" it then says i am logged in. i have since figured out that i should just start by going to popsci, signing out, then signing back in. i recall people complaining about this right when the upgrade happened. you would think that after twelve weeks, someone would have fixed this. but oh, the wonders of inefficiency.
When it says you are logged in, logout completely and then it will take you to ppx home......
then log back in and it should all work out fine.................................
Happened to me once or twice, but logging in and out worked for me..
On the left side of the homepage on http://www.ppxchat.com/ you will see a blue bottom labeled "Access Your Portfolio." It should take you directly to your portfolio. It is using the same url that Chris mentioned but it's always there on the ppxchat.com site, so if you bookmark the site, you'll always have a way to quickly get to your portfolio.

A couple of days ago I started having problems with this on my home machine. I noticed that it shows me logged in everywhere except on PPX where it doesn't show my user name. So I click on the login link it takes me to my portfolio which shows me as logged in. Admins if you could fix the PPX login so it recognizes when a user is logged into the website that might fix these issues.

BTW my work computer works fine and my home worked till a couple of days ago. Hard to play the game from home, I hope I haven't lost too much money.

this is still occurring two weeks later?!!? I have to occasionally re-log in because of the portfolio/profile glitch and it's getting pretty annoying. Plus, is all of this glitching because of that infamous 'upgrade' that came in a while ago? Seems pretty crazy and almost slower than congress
We should make Russ Feingold an admin. Just a thought.

If any business anywhere actually gave a sh!t about this site, the admins would have been walked out a month ago.
