Science is reinventing play, from extreme sports to gamification to ridiculous roller coasters to the playgrounds of tomorrow, and this issue is chock full of fun. Also, on a less fun note: Did global warming destroy my hometown?
That doesn't seem to differ much from Drywest. Do we really need two stocks on the same topic? Dryeast and Drywest? All the same drought, don't you think?
I just thought it was a little more hectic of a problem in the southeast. We only have about 220 days of water left in Lake Lanier, but it was just a suggestion. I do agree.
Will new data or other proof be discovered that goes against, and possibly disproves, Global Warming by 2009?
Seems pretty unrealistic, but it is possible.
The next IPO should be "Will the earth continue to warm for the next 4 yrs?"
Not necissarily unrealistic Tbone92. Remember that in the late 70's and early 80's the same groups that now champion Global Warming because of Greenhouse Gasses, were giving us doomsday reports about Global Cooling or Nuclear Winter being brought about by Greenhouse Gasses.
In the last 15 years it switched from cooling to warming and if you listen carefully it's switching again, now to "Climate Change". With Climate Change as the buzz words they can blame any weather on mankind.

In the end, rational people will probably decide global warming and cooling is caused by the sun.
A year or two ago I read about evidence of global warming on Mars and Pluto.
Mars has two vehicles, both solar powered. As far as we know, Pluto has no vehicles or other man made devices to cause greenhouse gas.
That was also a period of more sun spots than normal, and more coronal ejections.
Recently there has been a significant drop in the number of sun spots. If you research "the little ice age" you'll find it corresponded with the "Maunder Minimum" - an extended period of few sun spots.
As for Drywest - Vulgarian posted research a while back indicating it's unlikely either of the agencies required for the prop to pay long will declare the required emergency.
