You've probably heard about the upcoming Indiana Jones film, which is supposed to be a huge box office hit. (If you haven't heard of it, where have you been? Under a rock? http://www.efluxmedia.com/news_Indy_Gets_Crowds_of_Fans_at_Cannes_17770.html is a good link to catch up.)
Critics certainly seem to like it: http://www.efluxmedia.com/news_Indiana_Jones_Comeback_Praised_By_Critics_17752.html
People everywhere can't wait to get in, if the Cannes film festival was any measurement of things to come. And I, for one, am going to see it next weekend (and I never go see movies in theaters). Therefore, i think that it is appropriate to turn it into a prop. I think we did something similar with transformers. http://ppx.popsci.com/security/view.php?symbol=transf
"It's been (however many years it's been) since the last Indiana Jones movie, but the series seems to have picked up new fans in its absence. This prop will pay out at POP$100 if, through Labor Day "Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull" is the highest grossing film in North America to date of all films that premiered in 2008."
(I lifted some of it from the transformers criteria)

A 4th Indiana Jones movie? When did this happen? I think my head's going to explode...
Isn't Harrison Ford too old to be doing his own stunts now anyway?
While I think the idea is a good one, don't get me started on how you worded the prop...
I'd go long......That's in the bag.
It's not real, Fleawest.
he WOULD go long if it was real
I think it would equally appropriate to have an IPO on who will win American Idol, because that, too, is a science or technology issue.
Well, we had the one on transformers. Therefore, I'm not a total blithering idiot.
no, you're not but whoever put that Transformers IPO into play was, it's no more appropriate than the other two in this thread
