Did I just miss it or does msyhoo have no ending date?

According to my eyes, I don't see any ending date either.

I mentioned this in the tech support forum yesterday.

The price should go up, because if you give an infinite amount of monkeys an infinite number of typewriters...

What's next msholden, reanimate the dead?

Junior (milkweed), no more watching Dr. Zhivago ten times in a row.

Do we inform the admins or just sit back and laugh at their bosses?

I'm going long on this one and willing my thousand shares to charity after my death.

...We've had troops in Japan and Germany for over 60 years. Does that mean we LOST WWII ?!?!?...

1000 long, just because there are so few ways that it could payout short based on current wording in the prop (and lack of an end date). Plus, I actually believe that if Yahoo doesn't accept an offer soon, Microsft will just take what they want. They have the motivation, and they have the resources.

I've actually never seen Dr. Zhivago, Arsonist.
I'm not buying until the next round of payouts.

I'm switching over. The stock should pay out short if Microsft acquires Yahoo by other means than a proxy. I'm no good at posting links, but if you look at what ppx has attached to the prop page, there seem to be several indicators that Yahoo is seeking to avoid a proxy fight. Now whether that means accepting an alternate bid from Microsoft or making arrangments that would deter a proxy fight, I don't know. It sounds like Yahoo has until March 24th to take care of business and then Microsoft goes to the mattresses. If a deal isn't reached by then, I'll go long, because I think that Microsoft has the ability to win a proxy. Vulgarian, where are you buddy, to provide clear crisp links and well articulated analysys to back this?

Bill, I heard Vulgarian is charging ten percent of any winnings, make sure it's worth it.

Again, this stock is jumping up, and I'm not sure why. Yahoo has another three weeks to accept an offer, which would rule out a proxy, and, I believe make this stock payout short. In the time since this IPO was released Yahoo has shopped for other offers and gotten none as I understand it. It seems like if this stock pays out at all in the next three weeks it would be short if yahoo accepts a microsoft offer. Does anyone disagree or have thoughts?

how do you charge money for info

To find that out, you must drink the magic kool aid from the purple water cooler.

(You can't charge money. There is no way to transfer funds between portfolios)

this is a short. ms is threating a battle and now yahoo says they want to attend the wedding but they want more gifts. daddy aint gonna have to load his shotgun.

I agree. There are no other offers on the table, Microsoft's offer is more than fair and they have the resources to win a proxy fight. If Yahoo doesn't acccept, they're doing themselves and their stockholders a disservice.

Don't listen to Novey, dominator. He just wants to keep Vulgarian's research within the top 25 (and myself, because he likes me.) Check the responses on your other thread.

MS is giving up!!! (For now) This stock better payout because it seems pointless to sit around for the next couple of years waiting for Yahoo to make an ass out of themselves.
