Odd that this one should be falling. It's got over a year until it's deadline, and it's already been done using standard hacking techniques (and then using the phone to place VoIP... voice over internet... calls using a wifi network).

The only thing that needs to be done is for someone to use the SDK kit to make it happen.

This is going to happen fast once the SDK comes out.

I agree with vulgarian. Although I'm glad that the IPO is falling so that I can really buy low and make more PPX money when this IPO delist.

I agree that this is a no-brainer. I teach a PPX class and I told my class, and they agreed, that this seems silly especially considering the previous Iphone Hack prop.

Apple says go for it, I wouldn't expect it to take too long now to get this app available.

scooby, what do you mean when you say "a PPX class?"
Is there anyone in the class that posts here regularly?

This doesn't use the SDK but it's getting closer to happening and still have a long time before this prop closes

In Apple's keynote today they mentioned that a push notification service will be available to all iPhone developers in September. Removing a major obstacle to VOIP applications (application needn't be running to alert user of incoming call).

iPhone developer plans to make VOIP app that allows a call to be switched between VOIP and the cell service (VOIP not allowed on cell data).

Question is, even though this is not being distributed, can we still consider this as paying out long? I'm thinking it does as there isn't the 'commercial' clause for HGHTEST.

I just have to wait for the few payouts so I can dump some money over here now.
