I just look around and didn't see a forum topic on this so here it is.

This proposition will pay out at POP$100 if a cellphone equipped with Google's new open-source operating system, Android, is commercially available by September 21, 2008.

The reason I was looking for this topic was I can't understand why it was falling so much.

There is positive information on Foxnews.com
http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,361275,00.html

"Companies such as Samsung and Motorola have said they will make phones that run on Android."

Here is a link to a summary of an Anroid meeting last week
http://www.mobileburn.com/news.jsp?Id=4699

"...Google unveiled a number of new features of the Android mobile device OS as well as an yet to be announced Android phone..."

Here is a link at Heise Online on the same meeting

"...the first Android-compatible devices have become available, which is expected to be in the second half of the year."

Obviously there is wave-riding, but nothing I have seen that indicates which way this will go.

maybe people saw this article:
http://www.engadget.com/2008/06/02/krakow-says-gphone-is-delayed-to-2009-wait-what/

It really doesn't say anything but if you just kinda skim it, you could get a negative vibe out of it and decide to short the prop.

Thank you pso. That would explain the initial start down before the wave-riders jumped on.

Here is a link to an article saying that Android is going to be delayed until after Sep. 2008.

GROID is going to pay short.

Ok apparently I cannot post a link to the website, but go to CNET. They have an article stating that the phone is expected Sept. 17th. So this will be a close one.

Since we cant do links, search google news for android and looks like t-mobile will come out with it as early as 23rd so this one should pay out short.

This stock will be short and can be halted. It is coming out on the 23rd which will miss the 21st deadline.

This was a close one. It will be released on the 23rd.

My GROID has not delisted yet??? Why Not?

Normally it should be halted by now. However, we have been shown in the past that props don't always stop trading when they should.

Hold on to it funtana, it'll halt eventually and eventually delist and pay out.
