The only point I will make, and I'll keep it short, is that there is no valid reason to Cancel CRAIGSUES. But that it should be released if it has not been.

I do take umbrage, to the accusations of vandalism, when all I have done is offer counter arguments to your position, which debating and discussion is what forums are all about. If you want a place where you can play dictator and have only your opinions posted maybe you should start a blog or your own web page.

I never heard the term "plopple" before....I think I'll start using that more often.

Hah! as a high schooler, I can offer an opinion on the word "plopple"
It is a multi-use word, as the following examples show.
"Who do you have for English?" "Ms. Plopple"
"Jeez, Mary's been gone in the bathroom for a long time. She's probably smoking pot." "no, she just needed to take a big plopple"
"Class, turn in the homework that was due today." "PLOPPLE! I didn't do it!" "Go to the principal's office, young man!"

m_ Your standard of 'proof' would do a creationist proud. Proving me wrong on... what? I started a thread and asked dh not to plopple therein, he ignored me out of spite. His 46 or so years and two "college" degrees have barely raised his ability to process simple verbal concepts above the level of my 21-month-old grandson.

Insults will get you nowhere, my friend. However, since I didn't see the last few posts of the last thread that this is re-creating, I'll change my words, but retain the message:

I think it's amazing that Kahomono keeps deleting threads that offer viewpoints that contradict his. I think he is intolerant of others viewpoints, making ad hominem arguments even after he objected to one being used against him. He seems to live in his own little world where he is always right, and will do anything to maintain that illusion to himself.

Kahomono- Let's not get mean to creationists here. They're kind of touchy. For example, I tried to debate with one a month and a half ago and he still isn't talking to me. Wait, that isn't true. Yesterday he asked me to sharpen his pencil.
And how the heck was he supposed to know what a plopple is? When my little sister was 21 months old, or thereabouts, she was prone to saying things like "Gioiiiaseesseenmmmmquuux!" How the hell was I supposed to know that she was saying that she needed (a new diaper/to use the phone/another vodka)?

To be honest if I had cared to look past the use of a nonsense word like Plopple I could have figured it out, but since I didn't hold a whole lot of validity in what he was saying anyhow, mostly because he kept erasing threads that just didn't agree with him (and yeah I insulted him, but no more than I was insulted, and neither rose to a level of where admins would have said anything more than grow up, or play nice).

I'm actually glad I didn't know first hand what Plopple meant, except for here 99.99% of my daily contacts are with adults, and adults who say what they mean with out needing to cloak their language in childish terms, granted most of them don't take to swearing but had they wanted to say shit, they would just say it. And sure I posted in spite, who is he to tell me that I am not in titled to an opinion right or wrong, in an open forum.

Now I originally disagreed with Ejcassel in another thread but he gave his insight I realized he was right and admitted it, all you have done is try to twist what I have said, then delete it when I show how you are wrong. For example you keep throwing out that I said a trial and a suit are the same thing, and I never did, I did say that in order to win a suit it needs to go to trial or at least have a hearing in a court of law, never said they were the same thing, and of course you erased everything that shows what was said, so that no one can prove what was actually said.

You may have already heard this elsewhere--there's some problem with CRAIGSUES (i.e. it's not merely"switched off"). The developers have been looking into this. It won't affect portfolios etc, and hopefully will begin working properly soon enough.

Also, as a general rule--I know you sometimes just want admin response, but these are public forums, it's not really fair to delete threads simply because you don't like the public response.
