It all went down in Menorca, a popular venue for in-world events. The packed house managed to overload Second Life's servers, causing some avatars to render incompletely or not at all. So don't let the empty appearance deceive-the place was bumpin'!

A number of Coulton fans joined Second Life just for the show and were apparently confused as to how to dress themselves. Or maybe they were just trying to kick the party up a notch. Either way, thanks for coming, creepy naked guys.

And the squid wasn't all: "Skullcrusher Mountain" featured this half-monkey half-donkey creature scampering through the club. Thankfully no avatars were trampled.

PopSci editor in chief Mark "Front Row" Jannot was also suffering from some peculiar rendering, including some mysterious tattoos, but his dapper newsboy cap appeared normally. Sitting next to him was one of my favorite attendees that night, a portly gentleman in a Linux T-shirt smoking a green cigar.
