I love that the (Back) picture of the A7 shows more of the backside of the model than it does the car...

NOT ONE of these cars is aerodynamic, even passively. Oh yes, there is such a thing as active aerodynamics, too, squirt that jet of air forward! Why these simpletons fail, fail, fail, and fail to create aerodynamic automobiles is why we import oil instead of exporting it. Enclose those wheel wells, boys! Ladies, get a boat tail on those rolling things, slick up the body and its underside as well. Just bend the metal better and viola!

The new beetle is baaaad, love the beefier, lower, hotter profile and stance. The new People Wagon is here and I want it!

Why do they even bother to make "concepts"? Don't tell me it's to test the look of an automobile, the final product never resembles a "concept" vehicle even slightly, it's a waste.

Still nowhere even close to the Audi in I, Robot.

June 2012: Invent Your Own Anything

The 6th annual Invention Awards are here, from an inflatable tourniquet to a better lobster trap to spring-loaded hocket skates. This issue is all about the celebration of invention.

Plus: Making synthetic biology breakthroughs in a garage, building a constantly-moving ping-pong table, and a ridiculously overpowered barbecue.
