The Zune may so far have failed to dent the iPod’s market share, but it hasn’t stopped pushing the boundaries of what can be done in a pocket-sized player. The Zune HD is the first MP3 player with a tuner for HD radio, so it can stream clearer versions of many local FM stations, as well as digital-only channels. When parked in a separate dock, it uses its powerful yet low-energy processor to become one of the first pocket players that can send high-def video to your TV. Now that Microsoft has shown it can be done, look for other manufacturers to start including these features.

please do more thorough research, or even look at the zune's single primary competitor. a quick look on wikipedia noted that apple's ipod touch has had hd video out since 2008, and the ipod nano has a radio tuner that can pause and rewind live radio broadcasts (and was released a week before the zune hd). those aren't "also ran" mp3 players...
sorry, didn't mean to sound mean, or disrespectful, it just irks me when reporters don't seem to be doing thorough research. i'm sure it was a simple oversight. =]
they never said it was the first with HD Video its just the first that can send it to your TV
and that it was the first with HD radio
THE (archos) had these features for a long time. In standard def and in hd with the archos 5. It was developed before the zune. I am a recent member and i agree; they, need to do their research far more detailed. I had the (archos 5) far before the release of the (zune). The archos has a video camera, hdtv dock, wifi, larger screen, internet radio/tv, GPS, GAMES and far more before anyother mp3 player on the market. It JUST NOT EVERYONE CAN AFFORD IT BECASE THEY ARE POOR.
First of all, the Archos is not "pocket sized" and that is specifically what this article is dealing with.
Second, there are many pocket size devices with FM radio but how many have HD FM radio?
Finally, it stated that it is one of the first to send HD video to your TV.
If your going to call out someone about not doing research, maybe you also need to read with better comprehension.
