Grasschair
Want to take advantage of the dawning spring weather with a little lounging in the grass, but can't get over nature’s annoying lack of cushioned furniture? Worry no more--the "Grass Armchair" is here to fill nature's La-Z-Boy void. Simply assemble the kit's wooden frame, put it on your lawn, fill it with soil and grass seed, and within a few weeks you can enjoy a nice, comfortable, quasi-naturalistic sit. Now, if only one could get a little grassy TV to sprout nearby... —John Mahoney

Wow. That is creey, yet also cool. How would it stand up to the weight of a human being, though?

Basically it's just a mound of dirt shaped by a wooden frame, so I'm assuming it would hold quite a bit of weight. If only I had one here to test out....

What happens if poison ivy gets up in there?

Haha, disaster ensues. Gotta keep that thing weed-free.

Not in Missouri! The chiggers would devour you in the most interesting places.

Reminds me of "The Lonesome Death of Jordy Verrill" from Creepshow. A meteorite carrying alien crabgrass spores crashes, and green, grassy stuff starts growing on everything.

Stephen King wrote the short story and starred in the film:
