Superhero Competition

Think you've got what it takes to be a bona fide superhero? The SciFi Channel is taking applications for its latest reality show. From the Web site describing the ideal candidate for Who Wants to Be a Superhero?:

“All you'll need is an original idea for a superhero, a killer costume, and some real superhero mojo. The winner of this six-week competition will walk away with their superhero immortalized in a new comic book created by Stan Lee himself.”

I haven’t fully thought out my own getup, but I’m sure I’ll want the powers of the peacock mantis shrimp—I'll have 10 color pigments in my retinas and stereo vision in each eye, and I’ll wield the fastest predatorial kick in the animal kingdom.
