Special issue on the Future of the Car

The May 2010 issue of Popular Science+ -- the new iPad version of Popular Science -- is now available. Inside you'll find stunning visions of the future of the automobile, including a look inside the Fisker Karma, the traffic-jam-free future, and why your next car will be driven by a robot.

Get it here.

Popular Science+ May 2010 issue on the iPad:
In Popular Science+ you'll find every story that's in the print magazine, completely reengineered and redesigned for the iPad. Popular Science+ is more than just a replica of the print issue, but it maintains everything that's great about reading a physical magazine: a relaxed, immersive experience combining great storytelling and beautiful images, carefully curated and presented every month.

The first effort from Bonnier's Mag+ project to rethink digital magazines, Popular Science+ is optimized for the iPad, so you'll never have to pinch and zoom to read a story or click to find content. Instead, simply swipe across to browse through the articles and swipe down when you find something you want to read. No distractions, no hassle—just the content you love, ready to be explored.

what about android apps and editions?

And that's what popsic is, the Queen of Refuse. So bow down to her if you want, bow to her. Bow to the Queen of Slime, the Queen of Filth, the Queen of Putrescence. Boo. Boo. Rubbish. Filth. Slime. Muck. Boo. Boo. Boo.

I wonder how many ipads it took to bribe you guys.

What about 'the rest of us' who does not, cannot or will not have Ipads, Iphone, Ipods or Iwhatever? Are we locked out?

Popsci, stop SPAMMING with iPad news. You're destroying this site.

And yeah, what about Android, the best OS at this time?

Please explain why the digital copy is still $4.99, normal cover price? There is not printing & paper cost & delivery!!! Please tell why? I'm very confused why you would charge so much.

Thanks

Im ok with the price. BUT THIS WOULD BE GREAT: If I buy the magazine, I want to enjoy it on ANY platform. SO.... If you buy a paper copy in the mall, or get them shipped to you each month, you should honor that purchase by having a code on that magazine that will let me also view it on my iPad. That is my two cents and I really hope you listen. Why should I buy this product twice? That is mean. But sometimes, I like having the paper copy. But the iPad is a great viewing platform as well. I just say let the purchase of the paper copy also include a free download of the iPad one.
